Our Services
Prestige is an insurance agency and producer. We help commercial motor carriers and owner operators obtain, service, and manage trucking insurance coverage. We place coverage with third party insurance carriers. We are not an insurance company, and unless expressly stated in writing, we are not the party that underwrites your policy or pays your claims.
Payments Made Through This Website
Through this website you may pay for one or more of the following, depending on your transaction:
- Insurance premiums, or premium down payments and installments, that we collect on behalf of an insurance carrier or premium finance company.
- Agency, broker, or service fees charged by Prestige for arranging and servicing coverage.
The description of what you are paying for, and the amount, will be shown to you before you submit payment. Card payments are processed by our third party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Agency and service fees. Fees charged by Prestige for our services are non-refundable. These fees compensate us for work performed in arranging and servicing your coverage.
Insurance premiums. Premium refunds are governed by the terms of your insurance policy and the rules of the issuing carrier and, where applicable, your premium finance agreement. When a policy is cancelled, any premium refund is calculated by the carrier, typically on either a pro rata or a short rate basis as stated in your policy. We do not control the refund amount or timing set by the carrier. Refunds are returned using the original payment method where possible, or by check from the carrier or finance company.
How to cancel or request a refund. To cancel a policy or request a refund, contact us at 954-716-7700 or Service@prestigetrucking.com. Please include your company name, policy number, and the reason for the request. We will confirm your request and coordinate with the carrier. Processing times depend on the carrier and finance company.
Billing errors and duplicate charges. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at Service@prestigetrucking.com. We will investigate and, where a charge was made in error, arrange a correction or refund.
Important Information About Insurance (Financial Product Risk Disclosure)
Insurance is a financial product. Before you buy or pay, please understand the following:
- Quotes are estimates, not offers of coverage. A quote is based on the information provided and does not create coverage. Coverage exists only when a carrier binds a policy and issues it in writing.
- Coverage is subject to underwriting. Carriers may decline, modify, or price coverage based on their underwriting criteria, your loss history, driving records, equipment, operations, and other factors.
- Policies contain limits, deductibles, conditions, and exclusions. What is and is not covered is determined by the policy documents issued by the carrier. Read your policy carefully. If policy terms conflict with anything on this website or in marketing materials, the policy controls.
- Claims are decided by the carrier. Payment of any claim is subject to the policy terms and the carrier's claims determination. Purchasing a policy does not guarantee that a given claim will be paid.
- We act as your agent and may be compensated by carriers. Prestige may receive commissions or other compensation from the carriers with whom we place coverage. We will disclose compensation arrangements as required by applicable law.
- Premium financing. If you finance your premium, you are entering a separate finance agreement with its own interest, fees, and cancellation terms. Non payment can result in cancellation of your coverage.
- Coverage can lapse. Failure to pay premiums or finance installments on time can result in cancellation or non renewal, which may leave you without coverage and may affect your operating authority.
